The Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program is a New York State Medicaid Plan which allows consumers to hire family, friends, or the Personal Assistant (PA) of their choice to provide services for help with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Recipients have the flexibility and freedom in choosing their own caregivers!
